OSHA Training Courses

In-Person OSHA Training Courses

Some in-person courses are now offered, following the requirements set by the University of Cincinnati. Please check our Course Catalog for the latest course dates. Please be aware the course must reach a minimum amount of registered students in order to be held.

In-Person Course Requirements

As of June 2, 2021, the University of Cincinnati’s requirements are as follows:

For Fully Vaccinated People: Individuals who have been fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear a facial covering while on campus except, per CDC guidance, on buses, e.g., UC shuttle. Note that individuals are fully vaccinated 14 days after their final dose of vaccine.

All those who are fully vaccinated are encouraged to be sensitive that not everyone has the same comfort level with an environment without facial coverings at the present time. To ease the concerns of colleagues and friends, we ask that you try to wear a facial covering when you are inside.

For Unvaccinated People: Individuals who have not been fully vaccinated are still to wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing when indoors except when eating/drinking or alone in a private room or office. Unvaccinated individuals are not required to wear facial covering when outdoors and able to maintain 6 feet of social distancing.

For Everyone: We will currently continue to plan for 6-feet social distancing in campus spaces. This is especially important in shared office and workspaces where individuals are or may be sharing space for an entire work shift and in high-traffic common areas and social settings like campus eateries, TUC and CRC.

Because CDC and State of Ohio guidance may change as conditions and scientific recommendations change, this guidance is subject to change as conditions change. We also know that many individuals may wish to continue with use of facial coverings and social distancing precautions for a time, even if fully vaccinated.

Online OSHA Training Courses

We are able to offer some courses in a live online format. Please see our Online Virtual Course Listings for our current online offerings. Live online courses require a camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. Like an in-person class, you must be online and present at the starting time of each class and remain in the class until the class ends for the day.

Please see our Online Course Guide for information on how to test your computer before registering for a live online course.

How do I tell if a course is in-person or online?

On the course calendar, in-person courses will have a location listed:

Online courses will be a distinct green color, and say “Online Virtual Course”:
