OSHA 7000 OSHA Training Guidelines for Safe Patient Handling


The focus of this one-day course is to use OSHA’s Ergonomics Guidelines for Nursing Homes to develop a process to protect workers in nursing homes. The course will focus on analyzing and identifying ergonomic problem jobs and practical solutions to address those problems.

Course Objectives:
At the end of this training course you will be able to:
•    Describe how to apply OSHA’s Ergonomics Guidelines for Nursing Homes in developing a process to protect nursing home workers
•    Discuss the benefits of implementing an ergonomics process
•    Identify and analyze ergonomic problem job in nursing homes
•    Recognize practical solutions to address ergonomic problem jobs.
