Advanced Topics in Trenches and Excavations, 4 Hour Course Online

Description:

This 4 hour field perspectives course will assist those with management and safety responsibilities in developing a thorough understanding of advanced level concepts in excavating and trenching safety including hazard identification and abatement, safety programs, the roles and responsibilities of the competent person, and soil mechanics. This class will not certify workers as competent persons. This material was produced under grant number SH-05166-SH9 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Department of Labor. 4 Contact Hours

This course will be delivered online via Webex. Participants will be emailed a link to participate before the class begins. Participants must attend the entire online module and complete an end-of-course survey in order to receive an electronic certificate of completion.
