Description:
About the event: The Pilot Research Project symposium is part of the University of Cincinnati NIOSH Education and Research Center. Completed projects and project plans will be presented by 2023-24 & 2024-25 PRP awardees as well as a keynote presentation by Dr. Gordon Gillespie, University of Cincinnati, on the “State of the Science for Workplace Violence in Healthcare Research.” All PRP awardee presentations and posters will be on various topics concerning occupational safety and health.

10/24/24 IH Ethics Course
Dr. Jan Wachter author of “Ethics for the Safety and Health Professional: Approaches and Case Studies” will teach a two-hour ethics workshop on October 24th, from 4pm – 6pm. This course will satisfy the two-contact hour BGC ethics requirement for Certified Industrial Hygienists but is open to anyone interested.
10/24/24 Evening reception
The symposium will be held as a full day on Friday with an evening welcome reception on Thursday, October 24th, from 6pm – 8pm. Please check here if you will attend the evening reception so we can get a head count for food
