Description:
This three-hour course provides an in-depth understanding of preventing and managing heat-related illnesses in the workplace. Participants will gain knowledge about OSHA standards, strategies for recognizing and responding to temperature-related illnesses, and best practices for implementing workplace controls and safety programs. The course will include a brief discussion of managing cold-related illnesses in the workplace. Further, this course will discuss worker rights and employer responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
